Privacy Notice
Information about people in our reports
Reports contain information from public records: Harris County Clerk probate case records (case number, file date, case type, the decedent's name, the applicant's name and city, the attorney of record) and Harris Central Appraisal District property records (owner name, property address, value). We do not include phone numbers, email addresses, birth dates or financial account details, and we never use appraisal records that the law keeps confidential.
If you are a family member or representative and want a record removed from future reports, email hello@estateroster.com with the case number. We remove it and confirm within five business days.
Information about our customers
We keep your name, business, email address, zone, billing status and correspondence to run your subscription. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store card numbers. We do not sell customer information.
Information from this website
When you request a sample or join a waiting list, we collect the name, email address, company, business type and zone you enter, and use them only to answer you and to tell you about Estate Roster. We record your network address briefly to stop abuse of the form. To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. We do not allow other companies to collect information about your activity on this site.
Service providers that handle this information for us: Cloudflare (website hosting and visit counts), Zoho (our mailbox), Resend (sending email) and, once subscriptions open, Stripe (payments). Do Not Track: because we do no cross site tracking, the site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
To see, correct or delete the information you gave us, email hello@estateroster.com. If we change this notice, we update the date at the top of this page.
Every marketing email names us, gives our postal address and lets you opt out by replying "stop". We honor opt outs the same day we see them, and always within three business days.
Security and retention
Data is kept in access controlled systems used only for this business. Weekly report files are kept for 12 months, then deleted. Customer records are kept for the life of the subscription plus the period tax law requires.
Texas data broker notice
Our reports contain only information lawfully made available through government records. Texas Business and Commerce Code chapter 510 excludes that information from personal data, so we are not registered as a Texas data broker. If we ever add other data about individuals, we will register first and update this notice.
